Scope: Complete renovation of existing 6,500 square foot residence, 2,000 square foot addition and 1,779 outdoor living area
Privileged to have designed two prior homes on Country Club Drive, the opportunity to design a third on what may be the most unique property in Columbia is rare. Facing Forest Lake on three sides, this three-acre peninsula already featured a sizable home.
The renovation project allowed for a completely redesigned master suite, new great room, bonus room, bedrooms and baths, a new kitchen and extensive outdoor living spaces facing the water and a new backyard pool. A complete renovation of the exterior facade included removing the dated stucco detailing, designing a new entry feature, and adding limewash to transform the house into the aesthetic that the owners envisioned for their home.
