About
SEED Architecture is a full-service architecture and planning firm dedicated to developing relationships for the service of clients and fostering leadership in design for the broader Columbia community.
Founded in 2015 by John K. Powell, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, SEED Architecture is a Columbia, SC based firm adept at both commercial and residential design work. The company's focus is on a diversity of project types but is concerned most specifically with the people, the families, business owners and staff behind those projects. Using what we call “relationship-based design,” we listen carefully to the client's mission and vision, goals and dreams, and then build out the artistry and technical requirements of a project to achieve success. For SEED, the architecture begins with the client and grows into the tangible reality of design.
