Blessed with an abundance of work over the last several months, it has become evident that in order to serve clients well, it was necessary to bring another person onto the team. The logo for SEED Architecture was inspired by the section view of seed – the interior. At the time, the full significance of that choice was not realized. However, architectural and interior environments go hand-in-hand and working on both aspects side-by-side can greatly enhance the overall design and tangible result.
Therefore, SEED is pleased to announce the addition of Laura Burns to our team. Laura hails from East Tennessee but now calls Columbia home. She studied Interior Design at Anderson University. After six years at a residential design firm, she is excited to be back in the Architecture and Design world and looks forward to developing relationships and fostering leadership in design for the broader Columbia community in her new role at Seed.
